All About Gueuze

Time & Location

Jun 29, 6:00 PM
Stave, 540 South Castell Avenue, New Braunfels, TX, USA

Gueuze is a one-of-a-kind style of beer with extraordinary depth and complexity. It is mysterious, everchanging, expressive, and alive. Gueuze is the real Champagne of beer and can often show similar characteristics of a vintage Champagne. From grain to glass, Gueuze can take up to four years until it is ready to be enjoyed, and with that time can tell quite the story.

Join us in a private tasting while we talk about production methods and ingredients, flavors and characteristics, storage and service, and food pairing with Lambic and Gueuze. Everyone will get their own bottle of 2016 Lindeman’s Cuvée René as well as a personal board of meat, cheese, and olives (please let us know if you are vegetarian or would rather double cheese and no meat).

After the class with questions answered, you’re invited to stay for a private happy hour with $1 off all draft beer and $1 off all Gueuze bottles purchased.  We have plenty more otions from 3 Fonteinen, Boon, Hanssens, Oud Beersel and Roughhouse.

Doors open at 5:30 if you would like to come early. The class should take about 40 minutes and will start at 6:00pm. Must be 21+ to purchase and tickets are good for one adult.

Contact Hennigan at StaveCraftTX@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Can’t wait to see you there!
